Background

Vote Chris Flint for the FINRA Board of Governors.

My name is Chris Flint, and I’m asking all FINRA voting members to vote for me in this year’s FINRA Board elections for the Large Firms seat.

I believe that the FINRA Board needs more CEOs with a demonstrated, lifelong commitment to supporting the delivery of financial advice to retail investors, and my professional background very much reflects this commitment:

  • My candidacy for the FINRA Board has been officially endorsed by the Financial Services Institute (FSI), as well as the Bank Insurance & Securities Association (BISA). These are two of the most effective and ardent advocates for the retail financial advice industry, and I am honored by their support.
  • I am CEO of ProEquities, Inc., an independent broker-dealer that is part of Protective Life, and supports financial advisors from diverse business models across the country.
  • This is a role I was privileged to assume after decades of experience in the front lines across virtually every major function of a financial advice firm, having served in Chief Compliance Officer, Sr. VP of Distribution Companies and head of Business Development roles across multiple financial advice firms of all sizes.

Not only is my background in supporting the delivery retail financial advice very strong, I also have extensive experience with capital markets firms and have come away with a truly unique awareness and understanding of the needs of firms and their leadership teams across the entire base of FINRA voting members.
